TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

The Training and Education Training Package (TAE10) is designed to meet the current and future competency development and qualification needs of new and existing personnel working in a broad range of work functions and activities, within Vocational Education and Training (VET). The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110), is a Nationally Recognised Qualification, acknowledged throughout Australia and across industry, and is capable of being ‘customised’ to fit the requirements of industry groups.
The impact of the Training and Education Training Package is wide-ranging, and affects:
• Potential / new entrants to the VET sector
• Existing trainers / assessors in the VET sector
• Individuals providing training and / or assessment services for enterprise based organisations
• Trainers and assessors who are seeking to upgrade previous Training and Assessment qualifications for professional development; and
• Any individual seeking a career or personal development in training and assessment
Candidates of the TAE40110 may:
• Work within a RTO as a full / part-time or casual trainer and / or assessor
• Work within an industry sector, or
• Design, develop and / or produce training and assessment tools, instruments, or products for a qualification, in their field of technical expertise
The core units of the TAE40110 are a pre-requisite for issuance of the Diploma of Training and Assessment (TAA50104).
